Course Tour Agroindustrial Processes IIIThis past weekend we made a tour in the course of Argo industrial Processes III Ingo’s career at the University Agra industrial de Conception Chilean Campus, coordinated and led by Professor Peter Melina Marin.



The topics of emerging technologies visited the Laboratory of Pulsed UV Light from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso where Professor Luis Aguilar attended the Faculty of Science who shared their experiences of research in applications of UV LASER juice, blood plasma, export caves and sterile.



Then visited the Nuclear Center of the Queen, the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission (CCHEN) where they


had opportunity to visit the engine room and the reactor core. They also shared experiences of applications of pest control applications, inhibition of sprouting, spices and sterilization of surgical material is made in the center.



The journey continued with a visit to the Laboratory of High pressure applied to food of the University of La Serena, where in addition to tour the facility and Food Engineering facilities had the opportunity to see a trial of sterilization operation to 50,000 phi (3400 tam ) meat of abalone (Halitosis sp.) The visit was attended by graduate student Patricia Ms Barrios. Food Eng in his subject who is developing this technology graduate.



Finally the tour ended with a visit to the Equip Valley where he observed and admired the export of grape farming (fresh) and plantations of grapes for Pasco.



Could not miss a visit to the Pipsqueak Carpel, where he visited the five points of relevance to the industry which are: reception of the grapes, fermentation, distillation, aging and packaging. Of course, the visit was completed with the appropriate tasting of wines of various types, varieties and ages of aging.



In the opinion of the students, the tour was very rewarding and a lot of learning in relation to the subject and the race. Thank the teachers of the respective universities that attended this wonderful experience.
