The new figures from Euro stat confirmed the sharp decline in farm incomes of the EU in 2009 and have led to the Copa-Cogeca to call for "urgent steps" to alleviate the crisis in the European agricultural sector.
The second estimates from Euro stat for the economic accounts for agriculture in 2009 shows that EU farm incomes fell last year up 11.6% on average, once considered the effects of inflation.
Several sectors have been particularly affected in the EU, with falls of up to 30% for cereals, 24% for olive oil, 21% for the dairy industry and 12% for fruit. One of the

The board of Castillo y Leon amend its plan autonomic bonus supplements aid to farmers' social security for women who are registered in this agricultural system, as highlighted Fa-demur UPA and organizations in the region. Since 2005 women eligible for the state bonus of 30% of the fee if you are under 40 years bonus which could be extended by state government.
The regional aid program is to partially finance the share of farmers' social security of women and aims to promote self-employment for rural women and their inclusion in the agricultural system as full professionals. (more...)

AGGRO-INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING CLASSROOM IN THE foothills of the Andes
Students of the 2nd half of Argo industrial Engineering, accompanied by other pupils in the Chilean Campus of the University of Conception, made on Friday November 14 outdoor activity in the context of the subject entrepreneurial ism, in the foothills of the Andes Noble.
The 66 students knew that this would be an activity to develop “soft skills”, but never imagined it would be unforgettably good. Communicating in 2010
This past weekend we made a tour in the course of Argo industrial Processes III Ingo’s career at the University Agra industrial de Conception Chilean Campus, coordinated and led by Professor Peter Melina Marin.
The topics of emerging technologies visited the Laboratory of Pulsed UV Light from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso where Professor Luis Aguilar attended the Faculty of Science who shared their experiences of research in applications of UV LASER juice, blood plasma, export caves and sterile.
