From the beginning, early in World War II, the movement known as the agricultural green revolution, we witnessed the development of a more than conventional agriculture, as is usually called, would call industrial. This was mainly the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, production of new varieties more attractive appearance and the progressive mechanization of the crop practiced: monoculture. Everything that originally led to a surprising increase in yield per unit area, which the agricultural sector led to believe that future generations have the same effect. But truly the most immediate effect has been the need for the subscriber and the use of chemical pesticides, which leads to progressive enrichment of industries engaged in the manufacture of the products mentioned, and the inevitable degradation of

the ecosystem.
